Background
ONMT launched the “Ntla9aw Fbladna” platform in 2021 with a campaign showcasing Morocco’s most breathtaking landscapes, inspiring Moroccans to rediscover their country and reconnect with one another.
Building on its success, ONMT now aims to launch a second season, further advancing its mission by focusing on two key aspects of domestic tourism: Nature & Discovery and Seaside.
CHALLENGE
While Moroccans show a strong curiosity for their country’s rich cultural and natural diversity, domestic travel remains concentrated around peak periods and a narrow set of destinations. The challenge lies in unlocking its full potential by broadening destination choices, easing access and sparking greater enthusiasm for Morocco’s regional cultures.
INSIGHT
At a time when travel is often portrayed through still and postcard-perfect images, the real emotional value of travel lies in the richness of what is experienced rather than simply observed—something Morocco’s regional diversity makes uniquely possible.
SOLUTION
To invite Moroccans to fully rediscover their country, we shifted perspective : from showcasing Morocco’s extraordinary landscapes to encouraging Moroccans to experience them firsthand.
We launched the “WOW” campaign : an immersive take on Morocco’s most vibrant and authentic experiences, positioning Moroccans not just as viewers, but as the main characters of their travels.
An ambitious multi-channel campaign spotlighting the diversity of regions across Nature & Discovery and Seaside, the variety of experiences they offer, and the new multimodal transport solutions tailored to the evolving travel aspirations of Moroccans.
